Corpus is a record of the Isle of Mull. The Hebridean island is home to my maternal ancestors and my collection has been growing over the years as a result of repeated visits to the island. Corpus is underpinned by critical examination of the concept of ‘home’ and interrogates the unsettling relationship between longing and belonging.

The images are of an installation generated by this array of objects, writings, sound recordings, photographs and short films and sits somewhere between fact and fiction. The installation shots are from a one-day show of work at Meantime project space, Cheltenham, at the end of a month’s residency.
